Serato DJ Lite is a free piece of software that excels in making DJ’ing easy to understand. The DDJ-SX2’s size and weight makes it perfect for mobile gigs or at home workout sessions. The reason I gave it 4 stars is due to Platter latency and fader cut that can still use some tweaking, but unit has an overall good feel and great new features. Way better built than the original DDJ-SX. It also includes Expansion Pack vouchers for Pitch ‘n Time DJ and Serato FX so you can enjoy the full potential of the controller. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 unlocks Serato DJ Pro for free. The big changes: the SX3 adds more input/output options, improves the jog wheel latency, and has a second onboard USB soundcard for dual DJ use and handoffs. It’s incredibly similar to the DDJ-SX2, one of the most popular DJ controllers ever built. What is the difference between Pioneer DDJ-SX2 and SX3?
Alternatively, anyone can download and use Serato DJ Pro in Practice Mode without a license or hardware connected. Serato DJ Pro is a free upgrade for Serato DJ users who have an existing license or supported hardware.
